Varicose Vein Treatment
Our expert physicians at Trinity Health Michigan perform minimally invasive varicose vein treatments in comfortable and safe settings, providing you with fast, effective results toward improving your vascular health.
These office-based procedures take less than one hour and are performed with local anesthesia. Vein care is a covered benefit of most health insurance carriers.
Endovenous Ablation
Endovenous ablation is an outpatient, image-guided procedure that uses a laser or high-frequency radio waves to direct intense heat in order to close the target varicose vein. A local anesthetic is injected around the target vein to reduce discomfort. The goal of this treatment is to reduce your symptoms and the risk of complications from venous disease.
Treatment Options
- Sclerotherapy – A special liquid chemical is injected, which causes the disease vein to close.
- Micro-Phlebectomy – Veins are removed through tiny incisions in the skin. Patients can return to normal activity the day after treatment.
