Cardiac Rehab
Cardiac rehabilitation restores your strength and helps you move forward with your life after certain heart procedures or hospitalizations. It is a medically supervised exercise program that also includes education to help you adopt healthier habits for life. Find out more about cardiovascular services.
Offerings vary by location and include:
- Traditional cardiac rehab: This option consists of 36 exercise sessions.
- Pritikin intensive cardiac rehab (ICR): You undergo 36 exercise sessions plus 36 classes on topics such as nutrition and wellness. We were the first program in Michigan (and 13th in the country) to adopt the Pritikin ICR program.

Cardiopulmonary Care and Rehab
Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation services improve breathing in people with advanced lung and heart diseases. You may benefit from our program if chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or severe asthma affects your daily life. Services include education about healthy lifestyle habits and lung disease care so that you get the most out of each session.
