Pharmacy Residency
Only graduates from ACPE-accredited pharmacy programs may apply to the residency program. Foreign pharmacy graduates may apply to the residency program after successfully passing TOEFL and FPGEE, and if licensed to practice pharmacy in the United States.
Required application materials must be submitted through the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) and include:
- Curriculum vitae (CV)
- Letter of intent
- College of pharmacy official transcripts
- Three letters of recommendation (via the PhORCAS reference template)
The application deadline is January 2nd.
Trinity Health Grand Rapids, Graduate Medical Education residency programs participate in and follows all the rules for the ASHP National Matching Program. All applicants must also be participants in this program and abide by all of its rules.
Four residents are accepted into the program annually with an approximate start date of mid-June.
Residents accepting this position agree to complete 12 months of residency training at Trinity Health Grand Rapids Hospital and must complete all the requirements for the program before the certificate of completion can be awarded.
