Why I chose to practice in Grand Rapids...
I trained in internal medicine and pediatrics here in Grand Rapids and loved the growing medical community, resources and ability to teach medical students and residents in the place where I was trained. Additionally, being able to give back to the community and volunteer outside of work has been very fulfilling.
Also, I love the fact that Grand Rapids is a smaller town with bigger city vibes and that there is a great local music scene.

Why I chose to practice in Grand Rapids...
I chose to practice in Grand Rapids for the opportunity to be involved in teaching medical residents and practice medicine in a progressive medical community. I also wanted to live in a city that offers a variety of activities to pursue in an urban or rural setting. This includes cultural activities such as the theater, music and arts. It also includes outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, cross-country and downhill skiing, fishing, boating or beach time. It's a very convenient location to visit other places whether driving up north or to Chicago or flying anywhere in the world.
I enjoy sports: hockey, baseball, soccer and golf. Also enjoy hiking and being outdoors.
