Research
The Trinity Health Ann Arbor Colon and Rectal Surgery Residency emphasizes scholarly activity to include meritorious research. We are very active in Michigan Surgical Quality Collaborative (MSQC) database analysis projects, and American College of Surgeons Operative Standards book chapters and manuscripts, all of which have resulted in a presentation at regional and national meetings and all had led to publication. Institutional and multi-institutional comparative studies, as well as randomized controlled trials, are ongoing and also available for resident participation.
