Aquablation

Benign Prostate Hyperplasia (BPH) or an enlarged prostate, is a prostate that has grown to be larger than normal. This commonly happens as men grow older. As the prostate grows, it may constrict the urethra, making it difficult to urinate and/or apply pressure on the bladder, causing it to weaken and have difficulty emptying.

About Aquablation Therapy

We know choosing a treatment option can be overwhelming, as it often forces men to compromise in some way. This could mean not responding well to medication, or choosing a treatment that only provides limited relief, that may have a long recovery time, or that may even cause issues with sexual function.

Aquablation therapy is a one-of-a-kind procedure that aims to minimize this compromise. It is an advanced, minimally invasive treatment for BPH that uses imaging, robotics, and a heat-free waterjet to remove prostate tissue, supported by clinical studies that show it provides long-lasting relief with low rates of complications.

Trinity Health Michigan was second in the state to offer Aquablation therapy to help treat Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia symptoms and the only hospital in West Michigan to offer it.
