How to Prepare

How to Prepare for your sleep study:

  • Do not use hairspray, gel or other hair products the day of your study.
  • On the day of your study, shower and wash your hair.
  • Do not take naps on the day of your Sleep Study.
  • Do not drink alcohol on the day of your Sleep Study.
  • No caffeine after 6 p.m.

During Your Stay:

  • You will have your own room with a TV and a fan.
  • You can bring a laptop; WiFi is available.
  • You can bring a cell phone, but it will need to be turned off during your study.
  • You will be awakened between 5:30–6 a.m. and should be ready to leave by 6–6:30 a.m.
  • Please let us know in advance if you require any special accommodations: (oxygen, adjustable bed, commode, or assistance with everyday activities)
