Better Balance Program

Probility's approach for Better Balance patients is both high level and comprehensive. It incorporates balance training, vestibular rehab, strengthening, Tai Chi, power / speed training, and manual therapy to make sure that the patient is physically able to perform daily activities with more confidence.

A Probility physical therapist will complete a comprehensive evaluation to identify the causes of imbalance and provide a treatment plan to address specific deficits.

This may include:

  • Balance re-training
  • Gait training
  • Strengthening
  • Power/Speed training

Patients are given tools to continue their progress after discharge such as home exercises, recommendations for evidence based fall prevention programs and community exercise classes.
