Dr. Maynard, who is not my primary physician, had clearly looked deep into my chart and it showed when speaking to him about my problem. This helped with the overall time of my appointment and I was in and out rather quickly. When my primary Dr. retires I would by happy to switch to Dr. Maynard.

Dr. Ben Maynard does the impossible - coordinates my care with dozens of other med practices/practitioners & dozens of medications
Dr. Maynard ordered blood tests and a chest xray, which I went to get after my meeting with him ended. After 5 pm that evening Dr. Maynard called me at home to report that he examined the test results and that nothing to worry about was found. He said he wanted me to be at ease over the weekend. To me, this was exceptional service.

I misjudged my supplemental oxygen and ran out. They got me their own tank and used a wheelchair to get me to my car.

First visit with Dr Maynard. Covered a lot of ground, both new and existing issues. Struck me as friendly, competent, and professional. Listened to everything I had to say, sifted thru feelings and facts, provided reasoned judgements, and outlined an agreed upon plan for on-going care. I like him.

This was my first time seeing Dr. Maynard. He answered all the questions that I had and some that I had not asked. He seemed to really care about my health problems and how to make my care better. This was probably the best Doctor that I have seen in the whole IHA system.

Very pleasant, this was my first meeting with Dr Maynard. We reviewed my past and current issues and concerns.
However my doctor was attentive and knowledgeable, he forgot to put an order in for my X-ray. It was listed in my assessment & plan but when I showed up to the radiology dept. it was not in the system. Frustrating to drive up there only to have to come back later when the X-ray was ordered.

I am the out-of-state financial POA for this person, and overseer of their care. Their daughter lives in MI and handles the doctor appointments. She escorted them to the appointment. Dr. Maynard called me the same day and discussed concerns regarding the patient(s) and the care that they are receiving. Dr. Maynard followed up with a referral to gerontologist, helped their daughter make the appointments, talked to their daughter about transportation options (daughter often cancels appointments for her parents, resulting in poor care). The SW with the senior help center where the gerontologist is located also called me the same day. Dr. Maynard has been remarkable in his response to my questions and concerns, and has been so very helpful in keeping me updated, recommending courses of action. He genuinely cares about these patients, which is so appreciated.
