Preeti Misra, MD, Internal Medicine DirectorPreeti Misra, MD is the Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. Prior to taking on this role in 2022, she was the Associate Program Director for Internal Medicine. Previously, she was the Program Director for the Transitional Year Residency Program and a core faculty member at Sinai Grace Hospital/Detroit Medical Center. She is a graduate of the Internal Medicine Residency Program at Sinai Grace Hospital/Wayne State University. Dr. Misra is board-certified in Internal medicine and has a strong interest in Quality Improvement and Research. She is also the lead faculty for Research and Quality Improvement for the Internal Medicine program at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital. Her interests include teaching an Evidence-Based Medicine Curriculum, helping Residents with their scholarly activity and teaching and mentoring residents in high-value care. She is a physician champion with the HMS/BCBSM initiative and is involved with multiple QI activities. Dr. Misra's professional affiliations include the American College of Physicians, APDIM, SHM and several regional and national societies. |

Kuldeep Sidhu, MD, Associate Program DirectorMedical Degree: Govt Medical College Patiala, India Kuldeep Sidhu MD is a core faculty for the Department of Internal Medicine at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital and is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Sidhu is an IMG graduate from Govt Medical College Patiala, India and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Chief Residency Programs in internal medicine in Brooklyn, NY. He is board-certified in internal medicine. After residency, Dr. Sidhu joined IHA and has passionately contributed to cardiovascular medicine floors, at Trinity Health Ann Arbor working as a hospitalist. His enthusiasm and keen interest in teaching brought him to GME and to Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in 2020 He is dedicated to evidence-based medicine, quality care and treating patients in totality, rather than focusing on one specific condition. He believes that internists and hospitalists play a pivotal role in tailoring patient care. |

Raneev Jose, MD, Core FacultyMedical Degree: Govt Medical College Kottayam, India Raneev Jose, MD is a Core Faculty member for the Department of Internal Medicine at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital and is board-certified in internal medicine. Dr. Jose is an IMG graduate from Govt Medical College Kottayam, India and completed her internal medicine residency at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. Dr Jose worked as a Hospitalist after residency and has been involved in teaching residents since 2013. Because of her interest in teaching, she became a full-time GME faculty for the Department of Internal Medicine program at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in 2020 and was appointed as a Core Faculty member in 2023. |

Lisa Harston LeDoux, MD, Core FacultyMedical Degree: University of Illinois College of Medicine, Chicago, IL Lisa Harston-LeDoux, MD is a board certified Internal Medicine physician. She earned her medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at the Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Harston-LeDoux has clinical interests in preventive care, healthcare equity, women's health issues, hypertension, diabetes and obesity. She serves in Trinity Health Livonia Hospital’s Outpatient Clinic located in Livonia Michigan. Dr. Harston LeDoux was appointed as a Core Faculty member in 2023. |

Mariola Leka, MD, Core FacultyDr. Mariola Leka earned her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine in East Lansing, MI. She completed her internal medicine residency at Ascension Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. Her interests include medical student and resident education, primary care prevention, as well as collaboration with patients to empower their healthcare choices through high-quality compassionate care. |

Nikunj Patel, MD, Core FacultyMedical Degree: University of Illinois College of Medicine, Peoria, Illinois Residency: Saint Joseph’s Mercy Hospital Internal Medicine Residency Program Nikunj Patel, MD is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician. He earned his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine and completed his internal medicine residency at the Saint Joseph’s Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor. Dr. Patel has been teaching residents as a Hospitalist with IHA Healthcare Ann Arbor and Livonia since 2017. Because of his interest in teaching, Dr. Patel was appointed as a Core Faculty member for the Department of Internal Medicine Residency program at Trinity Health Livonia Hospital in 2024. |

Steinberger, MD, Core Faculty and DIODavid Steinberger is a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and completed his internal medicine residency training at Sinai Hospital of Detroit. He is board-certified in internal medicine and geriatrics. His focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of acute medical problems, the management of long-term medical conditions, and promoting good general health. Dr. Steinberger's professional affiliations include the American College of Physicians, the American Geriatric Society, and several local, state, and national societies. |
