Fellowship Rotations

Flexibility will be given to the fellow in order to achieve learning which is conducive with future career goals.

Core rotations include:

• Stroke unit
• Stroke consults
• Neuro ICU
• Vascular Neurosurgery/Neurointervention
• Neuroradiology
• Vascular neurology outpatient clinic
• Neurosonology
• Stroke rehabilitation
• Telestroke

Conferences and Didactics

• Weekly vascular neurology and neuroradiology case conference 
• Monthly Carotid Board Meetings
• Bi-weekly Neurointerventional/Neurological Surgery meetings
• Weekly Neurology Grand Rounds

Other Educational Opportunities

• Monthly Journal Clubs
• Neuropathology teaching sessions including brain cutting
• Neuroanatomy Course at the start of fellowship with Dr. Phil Gorelick
• Structural Heart Disease meetings with interventional cardiologists
• Virtual Vasculitis Clinic with multidisciplinary teams including Vascular Neurology, Emergency, Rheumatology, Vascular Surgery NeuOpthalomngy, Opth – multidisciplinary
• Training sessions with Neuroradiologists and Vascular Neurologists for transcranial Doppler and carotid Doppler
