- PharmD: University of Michigan
- Clinical interests: Infectious Disease and Critical Care
- What attracted me to THMI: I was initially attracted to THAA after hearing mentors and previous residents endorse the supportive, high-quality learning environment. I was further impressed with THAA after my APPE rotation, which highlighted the expertise and patience of the preceptors and the positive and collaborative relationship with providers. I have an interest in teaching, so the opportunity to precept students and serve as an instructor at the University of Michigan stood out to me as well. This program also offered multiple rotations of interest and Code Blue Response participation along with the ability to customize my experience to meet my individual goals.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Reading, making art, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and watching/playing sports

- What attracted me to THMI: After meeting with the preceptors and residents at the residency showcase, I learned that this program had all the features that I was looking for in a residency program. I was attracted to THAA's well-rounded clinical rotations, its flexibility to tailor the rotation schedule to your individual goals, and the opportunities for precepting and research. The welcoming conversations I had during my interviews solidified my decision that THAA would be the ideal place for completing my residency. Overall, I felt confident that THAA would provide me with the experience and mentorship necessary to become an independent pharmacist.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Spending time with family and friends, staying active by exercising and playing sports, attending concerts, and trying new restaurants
Colin Emmendorfer

- PharmD: University of Michigan
- Clinical interests: Emergency Medicine and Critical Care
- What attracted me to THMI: I have been a part of the intern program at THAA for the last 3 years, during which I formed many connections within the department. All of the pharmacy staff have been great people to work with during my time as an intern. The preceptors are experts in their specialties and will be fantastic mentors during my time as a resident. Additionally, the variety of rotations will allow me to expand my knowledge into other areas of pharmacy to become a well-rounded pharmacist. Furthermore, they provide the necessary support and resources to be successful during a residency program.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: spending time on the lake up north, going to the gym, watching football, playing pickleball with my wife, and playing video games in my spare time.

- What attracted me to THMI: Some of the best rotation experiences I had in pharmacy school were at THAA, where I felt incredibly supported, challenged, and inspired by preceptors that mentored me. The positive and collaborative environment, ample opportunities for learning and growth, as well as well-rounded residency experiences really attracted me to this program. When applying to residency programs, I was also looking for one that provided solid teaching/precepting opportunities, which I’m excited about! Overall, I know that I can learn, grow, and be challenged to be the pharmacist that I want to be at THAA.
- Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy: Baking bread, cross stitching, and spending time with my cats.
