Experience Advisor Program
Trinity Health Ann Arbor and Livingston are committed to delivering patient-centered care. We need your help to shape the way we care for our community. We invite former patients, family members, and the community to serve as volunteer Experience Advisors to offer input and advice on various aspects of the patient experience.
Input from our Experience Advisors immediately impacts change affecting the real needs of our patients and community.
Your Voice Matters
Now more than ever, we need the valuable input that can only come from patients, families and community members. The healthcare experience should meet the needs of all members of our community. Experience Advisors bring their lived experience to the table to inform and improve the patient experience. Use your voice to create a more inclusive healthcare system.
As an Experience Advisor you can serve in many ways – on councils, committees, as an electronic advisor and in one-time focus groups. All Experience Advisor roles are done virtually through online or phone meetings to ensure safety.
Becoming An Advisor
There are certain key requirements that we ask each Experience Advisor volunteer to meet. These requirements are set in place for your protection as well as for the protection of our patients, visitors, and staff. Each requirement must be met before your first day of volunteering. The list below contains some of our requirements however, others may also apply:

- References – All advisors will need to have two reference forms completed by non-relatives.
- Background Check – Criminal background checks are conducted on all volunteer advisors.
