Farm Share FAQs

A display table full of fruits and vegetables, including blueberries and peaches

Where does the food come from?

The Trinity Health Farm Share is a collaborative effort. We work with over 20 local farmers and vendors to provide a wide variety of responsibly grown local vegetables and fruits. Working with a variety of local farms allows us to:

  • Offer three 12-week seasons, from April through December!
  • Allow each farmer to grow what they grow best while still providing our members with a wide variety of produce.
  • Support local farmers and sustainable farming practices – our program generates roughly $250,000 in revenue for local farmers each year! A healthy food system leads to healthier communities.

Should I get a full share or half share?

Here are our recommendations:

  • Full Share: You pick up every week. Are you a confident veggie eater? Do you have several eaters in your household? Do you cook a lot? This is a good choice for you!
  • Half Share: You pick up every other week. Are you newer to the fruit and veggie eating scene? Do you cook infrequently? Are you feeding yourself and maybe one other person? This is a good choice for you!

How will I know what I’m going to get?

You will receive a weekly newsletter that includes the produce list, farmer info, recipes, and veggie spotlights that teach you about any new or uncommon veggies.
