Dr. Hakim has always presented himself in a professional and friendly manner throughout the many months I've been a patient for knee injections and ultimately the knee replacement surgery. I'm also most impressed with my surgical outcome. After joining a FB knee replacement group, I realize how fortunate I've been to have a extremely skilled surgeon who uses the latest and greatest techniques (Mako robotic-arm, subcutaneous sutures). My RN daughter commented at 4 weeks post op that my scar looked more like it was 4 years old.

Dr. Hakim seems to want to spend more time but his schedule is very tight. Trinity Health needs to allow more time for each appointment.
I was quite surprised-- I felt he was not only rushed but seemed to be annoyed when I asked what were simple and easily expected questions. I am a person who rarely complains and has an intense respect for physicians but this was an infrequent case where I felt the "bedside manner" left a great deal to be improved upon.
He was able to address an urgent concern as well as the problem I was there for.
This is the second time he has been my surgeon.

I liked that he made it clear what would happen and how avn was likely to progress and what to look for. He didn't make it sound dire but made it clear that it progress eventually needing surgery eventually but not right now. What I needed to look for and when to call back. Like I said clear communication the whole time

Excellent visit notes provided amazingly soon to me online--within 1.5 hrs. or so. Would have appreciated attention to current pain management and more about use of a cane and an offer to use a handicapped parking tag (I didn't think of it at the time).

Dr. Hakim is very efficient which probably explains why he can see patients so quickly, this did mean that he didn't spend much time understanding my concerns or my history. He just doesn't have the best bedside manner, for whatever that's worth.
