Something I have found recently is that many doctors do not spend much time with their patients and seem to be uninterested in their history. Dr. Murphy seemed genuinely interested in me and helping me with my health concerns without judgement.

Dr. Murphy is an amazing doctor. As this was my first time visiting him, he made me feel like I had been coming to him for years. It was a complete "180" from my previous PCP. He had already reviewed everything in my MyChart in advance and asked me questions. This speaks volumes.

I called for an appointment I was experiencing some symptoms, the doctor wasn't available on my day off so they made an appointment for me with the nurse practitioner. A little later they called me back and the doctor had some time for me and wanted to see me that same day. To me this shows they care about their patients and want to help asap.

I was very pleased I was searching for a new primary care doctor and was very nervous about this But Doctor Murphy had the best bedside manner I calmed down very fast
Dr. David Winston was my PCP for almost 30 years prior to his retirement. I did not think that I would find another PCP that I felt comfortable with. I called the Neighborhood location (much closer to my residence) to see about getting a new PCP and to schedule an appointment to meet him/her - I let them choose the Provider for me. When I left from my first visit with Dr. Murphy, a weight was lifted off my shoulders. He had reviewed my medical records and knew about me prior to entering my room. He was patient, thorough, professional, knowledgeable, along with having a very pleasant demeanor. He didn't make me feel pressured or rushed in any way. I believe he genuinely cares, not only about my health, but also the health of all of his patients. The Neighborhood location chose the perfect PCP for me and I couldn't be more happier or relieved. With all of that being said, I hope to have Dr. Murphy for my PCP for the remainder of my life. GREAT JOB IHA!!!!!!
