Dr. McGlaston has been a consistent professional for my care of a total hip replacement. He has listened to my concerns, explained the procedure in a manner that I can understand. The follow ups with either the doctor or his PA have been nothing but caring and making sure everything is understood, and potential problems are addressed and/or treated. The lines of communication by their whole team (RNs, PAs, and this Doc) are much better than most other teams that I have experienced.

In this visit, Dr. McGlaston gave a full exam, and assessment of my progress, from all facets of care (x-rays, PT, his observations). He listened to my issues. We then made plans to treat my remaining issues to return to work.

Dr. McGlaston did a great job of replacing 2 hips that I had with severe arthritis. Recovery from both operations went very well with minimal pain and a quick return to having the ability to walk normally. Dr. McGlaston did a thorough job of explaining the diagnosis of the problem, the operation to do the hip replacements and the recovery process.

Exceptional care
I was feeling rather hopeless after my poor results and aftercare from a partial hip replacement after a slip and fall in 2022. One set of xrays later and an initial consult, I was sent for a couple of preliminary tests and shortly afterwards my husband and I were in Dr. McGlaston's office discussing my need for a total hip replacement, ASAP. It has been 8 months since my successful Revision THR and I could not be happier! He explains everything ahead of time and was very patient with all of my questions! His staff was great at answering questions when I called the office. The hospital was great with pre surgery planning, and even had a designated person to call or go on line with to ask basic questions. I had a Very positive experience with Dr. Timothy McGlaston!!

At my first doctor appt I waited a full hour in the exam room before seeing the doctor. This was a bit uncomfortable and made me wonder if this was a sign of how all appts would be. I understand busy schedules, and things happen that can disrupt timing. I could hear conversation and laughter from a nearby room. I wondered if I had been scheduled during a lunch break, or does everyone have this much fun at appointments?
A terrific surgeon both in the operating room, pre-op work, and post-op work. I'm very glad he was my surgeon.
