I was instructed to make this appointment to review the results of a stress test ordered by my primary care doctor. I was quite anxious about this and would have had to wait 8 weeks to see the doctor but was offered an appointment sooner with the CNP (3 weeks wait time) so I did that. The CNP had not reviewed my test results prior to my appointment and said he would need to consult the doctor, which he would try to do that afternoon. So essentially, I learned nothing about my test results. It was pretty much a waste of my time and if you are making an appointment to review test results, I don't understand why the test results would not have been viewed before I showed up. Certainly 3 weeks is enough time to do that.
He went out of his way to find out where to get CT Scan images of my back. I appreciated that.

This was my first time meeting with this provider. I needed to see him for clearance for an upcoming surgery. He was very professional and personal. He did not, however, take time to introduce himself to me. It may be a small thing, but it would have been comforting in this situation. Also, he did not take time to sanitize his hands once he was in the room.

Tom Forton is the best. It seemed as if he had all the time in the world for me. My other providers seem to be always in a hurry. Nurse Forton took the time to review and converse about my Hypertension history and help me understand what and why I was taking specific medications. He understood my concerns about harsh side effects and set about immediately to mitigate these by adjusting my meds. He assured me of his availability for continued conversation about the performance of my meds until I could get a follow up appointment in a month. I came away very confident and assured the Nurse Forton cared about my condition and would continue to monitor.
