Tara Valentine, CNP, AE-C, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner. She completed her Master of Science as a primary care pediatric nurse practitioner at the University of Michigan School of Nursing. Tara has clinical interests in childhood asthma, allergy control and management, and childhood obesity and management. She is a certified asthma instructor.

Tara was great with my youngest, whom the appointment was for. What I was particularly pleased about, however, was her demeanor toward my four-year-old, allowing her to 鈥渉elp's with her sister鈥檚 check-up and engaging with her while she attended to the baby. This extra touch helps make my kiddos feel safe, comfortable, and valued. Plus, she thought it was great fun!

Tara Valentine is a superstar. Our 2.5 year old is nervous around people he does know well and nervous for new experiences. She took the time to make sure he was comfortable before rushing into the exam and our child had fun the entire time. Thank you so much!
