Dr. Zeni joined the St. Mary Mercy Hospital's Medical Staff in 2005. He is board certified in general surgery and fellowship trained in Advanced Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, Evanston IL. Dr. Zeni has also conducted research in bariatric surgery and has presented many studies at National and International Surgical Meetings. The wait time was a bit long but I understand they have limited staff but once I was in the room, the doctors and nurse that entered my room gave me their full attention and didn鈥檛 leave until all of my questions were answered

Dr. Zeni is a great doctor! He鈥檚 kind, courteous, compassionate, and readily answers any questions you may have. He takes his time with you, and isn鈥檛 rushed. He makes you feel like you matter. His demeanor is calm and he explains things well. I鈥檓 glad I chose him to be my doctor for my sleeve surgery.

Dr. Zeni is very caring and knowledgeable. He answers any questions I have and listens to my concerns. He tells me in a way that is understandable. He spends time with you during any visit and doesn't act like he's rushed to get to the next patient. If I needed any abdominal surgery, Dr. Zeni would be at the top of my list.

Dr. Zeni is always attentive and listens to me and values my opinion. he had all my records in front of him and my most recent blood work in front of him. He needed IRON levels and they had not been taken by PCP. I'm a bariatric patient and IRON is always important to Dr. Zeni.
