Dr. Raheja was very reassuring and explained his concerns so that i could easily understand them. first doctor in my memory at least that reviewed not just my oral medications but also the various eye drops i use for my glaucoma and explained that they cpuld interact with my blood pressure meds etc. Anyway I left knowing that I was in good hands.

Dr. Raheja clearly and carefully explained how current pacemakers work in language that I could understand. When I expressed interest but uncertainty about whether I would want to get one, he suggested that I meet with an electro-physiologist to discuss getting a pacemaker. A great suggestion. I can learn more and make a more informed decision.

On 5/5/22 I had my appointment with Michigan Heart for what I believe to be a follow up after I wore the 30 day telemetry device on my chest. After I got home, their office was calling to inform me that there was a medical problem the dr. either forgot to mention during the office visit, or didn't at the time information avaialble.

This visit was a follow-up to an EKOS procedure at St. Mary in Livonia. The provider is an excellent Dr and I will continue with him as my cardiologist. He was well versed on my case, listened carefully as I discussed my current condition, and provided excellent information on next steps and timeframe.

Patient subjective data can be more important than what a test result can offer and that needs to be taken seriously. I have intermittent heart trouble and just because a test doesn't reveal it, doesn't make it less real. The only listened to my heart for all of 15-20 seconds which is not an adequate exam.
