St. Joe's Medical Group Sports Medicine is pleased to share that on Monday, April 19, 2021, we will relocate our practice from the Wellness Center inside of St. Mary Mercy Livonia Hospital and begin seeing patients at our new practice on the fourth floor of the Livonia Medical Center. Dr. Karageanes, medical director, sports medicine, completed his medical degree at Michigan State University and his residency at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Karageanes is a fellowship trained sports medicine doctor from the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is board certified by the American Osteopathic Board of Sports Medicine and American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians Subspecialty.
Dr. Karageanes utilizes his osteopathic manual medicine skills to diagnose and treat acute and chronic orthopedic and sports injuries of all types, especially those that occur without a specific injury mechanism, such as anterior knee pain, low back pain and hip pain.
