I felt rushed, unheard and invalidated with my physical complaints. I came to my appointment with all of my blood pressure records as well as a list of physical symptoms that I though warranted further attention due to the number of years I have struggled to find an answer. I didn't feel as if the provider took the time needed to go over my symptoms and discuss a plan of action. The provider was dismissive of my home monitoring (blood pressure) and seemed unconcerned despite my family history. I work in healthcare and it was very insulting to have a provider dismiss my complaints and not reply to messages sent directly to her.

My former Primary Doctor, Dr. Li Li, is no longer with IHA. This was to be my first visit with Dr. Tefend which was to be for my annual physical and COVID booster. However, when I awoke that morning I was pretty sick Initially, I called to cancel my appointment but was advised to keep it and they would change the annual exam visit to a sick visit. I was taken into an exam room upon arrival and seen by a technician[....] followed by Dr. Tefend entering the room to exam me. She was thorough, considerate, and diagnosed me quickly. I did not feel "rushed", she took the time with me to make sure I was able to express my concerns. I look forward to my next visit with her [....] As far as our first appointment went, I feel very confident In having her as my Primary Physician!

It was my first visit with the provider. She was very friendly, professional and was knowledgeable about my health and recent medical care. Was very satisfied with the whole visit. All staff were pleasant, friendly and professional.
Dr Tefend is great she takes the time to listen to your concerns and answers your questions . I have recommended her to a lot of family and friends.
This was my first time at the new building and the first time with Dr. Tefend. The building is amazing. One shop medical facility with a real thought out design especially in times of covid.
The new facility in Livonia on Haggerty road is very well run from the minute I walked in everyone was courteous, informative (especially appreciated since this was my first visit to the facility) and professional. Cudos on the design and staffing of this much needed site for our area.
