About

Dr. Hagedorn earned his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science – The Chicago Medical School in North Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internal medicine residency at San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium while serving in the United States Air Force (USAF). Following his residency, Dr. Hagedorn completed a fellowship in pulmonary – critical care at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. Hagedorn joins us after 11 years in the USAF and having served as associate fellowship director and chief of pulmonary medicine at the San Antonio Military Medical Center – Brooke Army Medical Center. He deployed twice in support of Operation Enduring Freedom as a critical care transport physician.

“I strive to provide the most advanced medical care, with empathy and focus on the uniqueness of each individual. I believe patient education can empower one to control their health and wellness.”

He enjoys spending his free time with his family, in addition to his hobbies of swimming, golfing, boating and fishing. Dr. Hagedorn is also serving in the Michigan Air National Guard and has a special interest in veterans’ affairs and health.

I felt that the fact that I have had Bronchiectasis for a long period of time overshadowed my concerns that I have increased coughing and mucus. I was hoping for some suggestions on how to address these changes.
