About
Ryan holds an associate degree in applied science from the Washtenaw Community College physical therapist assistant program. He also earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University with a major in psychology and a minor in philosophy.
Ryan worked as a rock climbing coach for the Planet Rock Team and also competed at nationals. He has been on solo bicycle tours in Iceland, Quebec, Newfoundland, Estonia, Latvia, Germany, Sweden, Netherlands, Yukon, and NWT and all over the US. He competes at a high level in ultramarathons around the country and has qualified for Nationals in Olympic distance triathlon.
Ryan's other hobbies include juggling, windsurfing, fly-fishing, soccer, and hanging out with his dog, Boudreaux.
