Richard Chaperon, PT, MSPT, CIMT

"I worked at Indian Trials Camp for five summers. Indian Trails Camp allows campers with a variety of disabilities, with ages ranging from five to 78, to spend one or two weeks in cabins overnight with the assistance of counselors like myself. This helped me to define my career choice."

Richard earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's degree in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University.

He has worked predominately in outpatient settings and joined Saint Joseph Mercy Health System working at the Michigan Orthopedic Center. Rich enjoys working with a wide variety of orthopedic conditions including patients dealing with cervical and low back pain, as well as those dealing with pain in the extremities.

Through continuing education, he has learned and is proficient with a wide variety of manual treatments. He compliments these skills with an individualized approach to developing exercises for home.

Rich enjoys being a part of the Probility team and is working toward Certification for Integrated Manual Therapy (CIMT).
