Raza Ali, MD, is board-certified in family medicine. Dr. Ali earned his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan and completed his family medicine residency at Pontiac General Hospital. He completed a geriatric fellowship at Beaumont Hospital – Royal Oak. Dr. Ali has clinical interests in preventive care, chronic diseases, geriatrics, pediatrics and acute care. Dr. Ali is an excellent doctor! He quickly recognized Andrew's symptoms and ordered appropriate diagnostic testing. He asked that we communicate with him as to the progression of the illness, suggested follow up care, and answered all of our questions and concerns. He even had a support person call to check on Andrew a few days after our visit. IHA is very fortunate to have Dr. Ali on staff and should do all that they can to keep him on staff. Dr. Ali is very thorough. He scans my records to follow up on any previous issues, and he orders blood tests or other procedures to ensure my condition is stable or improving. He solicits questions from me to make sure all of my concerns are addressed. His care for his patients is obvious. I have great confidence in him and his approach to patient care.

I'll tell you like it is. Ali is the best Doctor I have had in 50 years. I have been looking for a doctor that cares and that I'm not just 15 mins. Plus, he knows his stuff, get it right the first time. Not try this, if that don't work, come back and see me again, I can tell you he is the GREATEST. I tell everyone to go see him. I have been ill for the past 6 weeks. Dr. Ali has provided many referrals for tests to determine the cause and treatment for my illness. He has scheduled additional appointments to see me at his office. He has called me at home several times to check on my well-being and discuss medications and test results.
