Dr K always enters the room with a smiles and says how nice it is to see me. Then she listens to what you have to say..Asking questions along the way. She takes a few moments before she speaks and lets you know what she thinks is wrong.. Then she lets you know how she is going to treat the problem.Including you in what she is doing.. She goes over all your medications seeing if you need any refills.. Does check up of your lungs, chest, ears and heart.. Letting you know what to expect and when to expect to come back..

After that long wait to see her so early in the morning she spent 50 minutes with me - She is incredibly thorough; listens very well and I feel she really cares about me as a patient. When I told her I wanted to work on my diet rather than taking new meds, she offered to refer me to a nutritionist- I am very excited about that! Then, if that doesn't help I will be very willing to try additional meds. We have a plan moving forward and I have all the things I will need for blood work when I see her in 6 months.

She signed me up for X-rays that were done immediately in the same office, which was great. Dr. Krishnashastry is very caring and listens to all my concerns. She is not at all rushed and answered all of my questions thoroughly.
Dr. K was very attentive. This was my initial new patient visit and I felt confident in her knowledge of my specific concerns. I love that she takes her time and makes you feel like you're her only patient.

As usual Dr Krisnashastry was an excellent listener. She discussed treatment options and included me in the decision-making process. The nurse, Laura Thompson, was very competent, pleasant and respectful of my needs.

She seemed to rush the appointment at the end and I still had questions to ask her. I understood because she was already behind schedule when we started. She stayed for my last question after I asked her to do so. She usually takes plenty of time to answer all my questions, so this was unusual.

Overall Dr K seems to provide quality care. And I rarely see her (once a year for checkup) and have had no other reasons for a visit. However my LDL is slightly high and when we were discussing she said 'and you have no history of heart attack or stroke in the family' which is incorrect, I do. And we've talked about it before. I get that she was behind and probably was unable to review all previous notes about me but now I'm a bit concerned she doesn't have proper notes on my background

Dr. K is very kind and thorough. I was looking for a new PCP with a fresh perspective to help me piece together some of my strange medical issues. Dr. K was recommended to me. In reading the patient follow up/summary, I do think that Dr. K listened to what I had to say and is trying to sort through the long list of symptoms I brought in. I think it will take more than one appointment for us to establish a patient/doctor relationship- so I need to continue to see Dr. K for awhile and see how it goes. The only think I can see being an issue is Dr. K wanting me to 'look at my psychiatric medications' to make sure they aren't the problem. I'm in very close contact with my psychiatrist and I do a ton of research about my medication. She's not in the wrong to inquire about this, but I have been hospitalized 3x for suicidal ideation and I need for her to understand that 'just taking away a medication' for me could be very harmful. I didn't feel like she understood the severity of my major depressive disorder diagnosis. You don't mess with the meds if you are doing well.
Dr. K is very thorough and I can't say enough wonderful things about her as a PCP. I value that she spends time listening to my health concerns & addresses accordingly.
