Dr. Tyrrell completed his medical education at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine in Chicago, Illinois. He completed his internal medicine residency at McLaren Greater Lansing Hospital. When asked about his philosophy of care, Dr. Tyrrell said,
"My job as a physician is to help keep your body well so you may experience more of what is important to you and brings you happiness."
His clinical interests include improving patient care during the transition from the hospital to home as well as improving communication between physician, patients, and all members of the healthcare team. In his free time, Dr. Tyrrell enjoys spending time with his wife, three kids, horses and dogs!
