Nabeel Obeid, MD

Dr. Obeid completed his medical education in 2010 at the University of Michigan Medical School. Dr. Obeid furthered his training in general surgery at New York University School of Medicine as house officer of NYU Langone Medical Center, Bellevue Hospital Center, and the Manhattan Veterans Affairs Hospital. He graduated as academic chief resident in 2016. He subsequently completed an accredited fellowship in minimally-invasive and bariatric surgery at Stony Brook University Hospital. Dr. Obeid’s clinical interests include advanced laparoscopy and minimally-invasive surgery, bariatric surgery, diseases of the foregut (reflux disease, paraesophageal/hiatal hernias, esophageal dysmotility), gallbladder disease, hernias, and upper endoscopy.
