About
"I have always enjoyed a very active lifestyle and have recovered from various injuries throughout my life. These personal experiences, along with my interests in medicine, anatomy and exercise, have led me to become a physical therapist. I hope to have a positive impact on people's lives, and help to restore their mobility and function to be able to enjoy life again."
Michelle earned a bachelor's degree in health science and a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University. She is also credentialed through Great Lakes Seminars and the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT) earning both her CIMT and CMPT certifications in manual therapy.
Her approach to physical therapy is holistic with an emphasis on spinal and peripheral joint mobilization, muscle energy technique, myofascial release, and therapeutic exercise.
Michelle enjoys all water sports, cross country skiing, mountain and downhill biking, hiking, rock climbing, yoga, cooking and traveling with her husband.
