Dr. Heeringa earned his medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine and completed his pediatric residency with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. His clinical interests include pediatric obesity, diagnosis/treatment of ADHD and hematology.

In his spare time, Dr. Heeringa enjoys European soccer, playing tennis and ping pong, and road biking.

I absolutely loved the way he respected my daughter, asked for consent before touching her and gave her control over what happened next. He also took the time to answer all my questions. I’m so happy to have found Dr. Lee, he was fantastic. My daughter was scared to go to the doctor and now she’s asking when she gets to go back!
