Dr. Schrock truely listens to your needs and provides the best non-judgemental care. She has never once fat-shamed me for my BMI. She also understands that because of my history with disordered eating, any comment regarding the size of my body (intended positively or negatively) can be harmful. She has focused on my health while my weight has fluctuated and supported me through getting healthier in a kind and compassionate way. Simply by not mentioning my weight at all, Dr. Schrock has made such a huge impact on my life. Without the pressure of getting to a certain size or number on the scale, I can focus on my health and still have a healthy body image.

Everything was great for this visit. The receptionist took me right back to an exam room because I've had a fever and sore throat. This made me feel very comfortable that these steps are being taken. I waited a very short time and then the nurse Danielle, came in. She was very friendly and cared about my issues. After that Dr. Schrock was basically right in. She was also very friendly and explained things in a way that was easy for me to understand.

*Dr. Schrock was filling in for my original provider, *Dr. Schmehl. It was my 2nd time seeing *Dr. Schrock, (a follow-up/check-up). She helped me in providing me mental health resources info, and supporting my decision to find a new therapist. She also referred my to *Dr. Oliver Ryan, podiatrist (another positive experience).
Overall, it was a very good experience.
Both Dr. Schrock and Nurse Danielle were excellent as usual in making sure I receive the best care within the context of my medical records. I made the switch to IHA from Henry Ford and am so happy I did - even though my insurance recently changed and I had the option to go back to Henry Ford, I will stay with IHA for as long as Dr. Schrock and the Plymouth office are there due to the attention and care I receive each time. I also now recommend IHA to all my friends and relatives who use UMich health because one of the best factors of your health system is the ability to see a doctor within the week. Thank you and thank Dr. Schrock as always for the true commitment to patients' needs and health.

Takes time to explain why &/Uber I need treatment as I am gaining weight for unknown reason, she wants me to go for tests, exams - X-rays. Ex: THey should allow a prescription that works. I'll call the hospital next time for pain is intolerable.
