Words cannot express the unbridled elation of actually being heard by a doctor for the first time in 37 years of life as a woman. I know that sounds dramatic, but if you are a woman you know exactly what I'm talking about. She asked relevant questions, listened to my history, and offered the right tests to help find me a solution… not just another “lose weight� excuse. In fact, she said, and I quote, “you will never hear that from me.� Can I just say, I almost cried right then and there? Because wow. You never know how impactful words can be until they hit you like that. I have lived and seen doctors across 4 different states and the insight she provided at my appointment were life changing. It made so much sense and it's almost infuriating that not one doctor has ever come to this very likely possibility. I am so grateful my friend told me about Dr. Carney, and I'm so glad I made an appointment with her. From one appointment alone I truly feel like my health is a priority to a medical professional, not a burden. Thank you, Dr. Carney. I am so grateful for you!
