Your appointment setting staff needs a refresher on checking a patient鈥檚 history more carefully. My daughter had her annual checkup in November 2023. There was no need for Heather to have a doctors appointment to get her medication refilled.

My virtual visit lasted 8 minutes. I had so many things to discuss but I was shut down. I had to pay a copay for 8 minutes of seeing my doctor over a screen and having her tell me no. On almost everything I requested. Frustrating experience.

As a "new" patient I had to wait for months to get an appointment that I was told, after being rescheduled by doctor's office, would be 40 min. Didn't feel like doctor took the time to ask about my health history.which is quite extensive
As much as i would had preferred not to needed to be in the hospital for a week's time, my stay could not have been any better. I was well taken care of by the amazing staff. The nurses, techs, doctors, phlebotomists, staff who would being me meals, and staff who would freshen up my room....ALL were a delight and i was given the best of care. Let's hope i don't have to go through anything like that again, yet if i do, i would trust my life with Howell, Michigan's Trinity Health Livingston Hospital - Saint Joseph Mercy Health System. And i thank everyone who shared smiles with me during my stay :)
Make the patient feel human, not like a number. Take the time to find out what's going on, make it personal, make the patient feel like you care. I don't know, my complaint is also about the entire health care field. Why can't doctors take more time to really assess more broadly a person's physical and mental health?
Once able to see doctor, AFTER visit to ER, the experience with the doctor was very good.
Appreciated not feeling rushed. She sat and gave me time to speak about my concerns and then addressed them, asking me if I agreed or not with her impressions.

I went in for an urgent appt on Friday, but was left sitting in the lobby while the doc went home and was not seen. A staff person saw me there and gave me another appt for the following Monday where I was seen my Dr Delecki and referred to a specialist.

Overall, I was a little disappointed because I felt the appointment was 'soooo' quick that I didn't get the sense of patient-doctor relationship, especially as a new patient.
