About

"When I was a young athlete, I trained in a sports medicine clinic. As I worked out, I found myself drawn to the way in which the therapists understood and connected so well with their patients' stories. I became a physical therapist because I knew I wanted to be someone who could have great impact on people's lives. To me, this is so much more than just my job."

Kelly holds a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University where she was a NCAA Division One athlete and captain of the women's soccer team.

As a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), Kelly is credentialed through Great Lakes Seminars to assess mechanical dysfunction from a holistic perspective, using an eclectic hands-on approach.

She is instructs continuing education seminars across the country which emphasize master-level musculoskeletal assessment, manual therapy techniques, and functional strengthening exercises. Kelly created a seminar called Finding Dysfunction which gives therapists a unique and systematic framework for assessing the body and finding the true cause of a patient’s limitation of motion and / or symptoms.

Kelly is also a trained steward in the leadership methodology, Intentional Energetic Presence (IEP), which allows her to guide people to show up in their lives more fully, collaborate and lead more effectively, communicate with intention, and create resilient cultures in businesses and families. She has been invited to consult with companies such as Zingerman's and Vista Print, and she intends to implement IEP into health care systems across the country.

Kelly enjoys maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle, spending quality time with family and friends, reflective writing, and reading inspirational stories.
