Learning that I needed a Lumbar Fusion at 80 years old was a bit daunting to say the least. However, my fears diminished after meeting with Dr. Jason Brodkey. His professionalism and warm personality immediately put me at ease after he honestly explained the concerns and details of the procedure to my daughter and I. Dr. Brodkey has a real gift for listening and explaining complex concepts in ways we could understand and in ways that we could relate to on a personal basis. The only complaint - and admittedly it's a small one - is that the paperwork required (sternly as in, if you don't do it, we may not see you) didn't seem to matter. I spent a long time filling it out and could not tell if anyone was going to read it. We needed a little more time with him, but he's busy and fortunately arranged a quick second appointment. Overall, I was really pleased with his confidence, his listening and the clarity of his explanations.

THIS WAS MY FIRST VISIT TO THIS PROVIDER (SURGEON). THE CLINICIANS AND GROUP DIDN'T SAY MUCH AT ALL. WAIT TIME WAS GOOD, TIME SEEN BY THE DOCTOR WAS GOOD.
*Dr. Brodkey went over all test with me & explained what was going on with my back as to why I was so bad. Explained all options and told me about surgery. He explained all pro's & con's & explained the hopeful outcome - This surgery was no guarantee but it did work so far.
A 14 out of 10. Dr. Is personable, concerned, very knowledgable, explained in such a way as is understandable to my layman level. Gave unbiased advice which gave me my best options for treatment. Stellar experience and gave me confidence in my direction of treatment.
