The only demurrer I would bring up is that I thought I was going in for an EMG procedure, and after discussing this with the doctor I came out rather with a prescription for physical therapy, which may well be the best next step to take - but I can't help wondering if there would've been any more information gleaned regarding my ailment if we had gone through with the procedure that was originally recommended by my PCP.
Dr. Westbury took the time to listen and understand. She also explained things in detail.

She was telling me that I had had all this testing and nothing had been found. I reminded her that last May I had that EEG or EMG electro test that said I had Neuropathy. I don't have a problem with her not remembering because I was a new patient in May and then she went on maternity leave.

The medical issues I have are chronic for the last 12 to 15 years. The questions and examination that Dr. Westbury asked and performed yesterday are the most thorough I experienced in ALL of that total time for these symptoms.
Provider - Emily Westbury really took the time to understand my history & background, we came up with some ideas together. She was caring and thorough.
This was my first visit to a neurologist at St. Joe's - She was very knowledgeable and WE discussed my peripheral neuropathy. Since I'm not in pain only occasional numbness she decided I didn't need any medication - which I agreed with.
