Emily is one of the best. She is funny, loving, explains things really well, and makes you feel at home. She approaches you with care and lightheartedness. I had the most amazing birth and owe a lot of it to her personality and energy. I felt very lucky to have her in my first and third births as well as seeing her postpartum. Every birthing mother should experience working with Emily!

My appointment with Emily was the first time a provider spent so much time getting to know me and how I was doing - something I鈥檝e thought wasn鈥檛 possible to find in the healthcare industry due to the volume of appointments expected of providers. Thank God (and I mean that in every sense of the phrase) for Emily Bousamra who literally just validated every single part of my existence as a mother with a traumatic birth, told me that even if things were hard during COVID they have to own the way that things affected me and my birth, educated me about things that I needed education on, and is advocating for me with other staff who dismissed me, and insisted on my own comfort and autonomy in this process with regards to tests and everything else. This is the first time in my pregnancy that I feel ok about being pregnant again.
