I don鈥檛 feel like I鈥檓 getting listened to. I鈥檝e been through a lot in the last year and I don鈥檛 get the express everything that has been going on because I get overwhelmed thinking about it. This provided also was my mothers primary doctor. When my mother was alive I don鈥檛 feel like she was paying attention to her health. She always seen how swollen my mothers legs were knowing she has a cardiac condition. She should have sent my mother to the cardiologist a long time ago when she first noticed the swelling. I鈥檝e asked to be referred to a cardiologist because congestive heart failure is a genetic trait and I should be getting checked at this age. The provider felt like I did not need to see a cardiologist because there was no issues relating to it. There was absolutely a factor in there that it is a genetic trait. I don鈥檛 feel understood by my provider.

Nice person, just not up to date on things
I am disappointed in the notes from the short appointment that made it look like she did a thorough exam. She said I had fifteen minutes. She did not get up out of the chair and even listen to my heart or look in my ear that I was complaining about.

I have seen Dr. Schmidt once before and she was rude, standoffish, and belittling of my previous treatment by one of her partners. She walked in and made a comment about not wanting a challenge today. It put me on edge for the whole visit.

I hope Dr. Schmidt stays with her practice for a long time. She is just so great at her job. Thoughtful, listens, cares and provides relief. She is invaluable. She has been treating me for diabetes and heart stuff and she is up to date and gives me great advice and in such a great manner. I don't feel bad about myself for the diabetes and she has helped me to lose a lot of weight with her encouragement and knowledge of my issues. Such an awesome person. So good at what she does for us.

I feel the physician should spend more time with their patients instead of planning only 20 minutes, so there is more time to discuss other issues that a patient may want to discuss with their doctors.

Dr Schmidt is an older lady that probably needs to retire. I am not being mean, I am a 65 year old woman myself. She rambles on about her family, forgets what we are talking about and does not follow up on things. I need to find a new doctor
