Right now, the injections help the pain to be tolerable, but I feel it is not a long term solution if .y condition is going to get worse. I wish I knew what to do to stop it from worsening, or at least slow the progression..I just dont have any answers

Longer than expected, but staff nurse, doctor, etc. seemed overbooked and over worked, yet still had AMAZING patience and compassion for child and family with them. Checked in at 9am for a 9:10am appointment. At 10am I asked why the delay. The receptionist got up and walked away, then returned and said there was a mix up. I was called back 5 minutes later.

I felt as though either, he didn't believe me or, he was perhaps overbooked and he was in a huge hurry to get out of there. I don't think I'd refer HIM to family or friends. However, I'd refer them to that office.

I have bruises and hurts all over my fore arm. Where exactly was the fracture.? They took an e ray. He said he saw it. He did not answer my only question. He was looking at his computer.
I felt relieved to know that my new knee had healed well.
What I really appreciated from Dr. Schueller was his recognition of my previous experience with injuries and surgeries. I felt like he listened to me and understood my goals. Subsequently, I was quite happy with the course of treatment that we decided on. I also thought that the pre-check-in process was excellent and made my check-in on the day of the appointment very quick and pleasant.

The provider wasn't as professional as I would have liked as he laughed with the nurses, etc which made me feel unimportant. He was cooperative with me when I indicated that I didn't want to go to Rehab and gave me exercises to do. He did explain what my decisions might be in the future if my condition didn't improve in a few months. I left the office not knowing if this provider would be the one doing surgery if I needed it and if he would be serious about it. Other than this, he was nice.
I was in the office for a pre-op check. My experience was that Dr. Schueller listened to my questions and concerns and took care of the situations quickly.
Everything was fine. However, taking this so-called survey turned out to be a waste of my time.

When the provider entered the room, it seemed like he had already decided what was wrong with me and the next steps moving forward. When I expressed my concerns, they were quickly dismissed and I didn't feel like I was being taken seriously. A lot of his advice was contradictory to what my other physicians had told me. He didn't take time to look at my injury or ask me about pain levels before telling me what was happening and dictating next steps. I did not feel like he had any empathy for my situation. I also did not feel very involved in the conversation--the physician was talking at me rather than involving me in my care plan.

Dr. Schueller provided a view of current and prior x-rays and informed me that there was no significant difference. He explained that some folks experience a difference which could present a problem. In my case, everything was fine. He then promptly answered all of my questions and informed me of my next appointment and gave me a general understanding of future appointment intervals.

Dr Scheuller explained everything to me so that I could understand what exactly was going on with my fracture. He took his time and in no way was he rushed. I am very pleased.
The doctor was impatient and dismissive, and he frequently interrupted me. Early during the appointment, I said that I wanted to discuss the pros and cons of getting cortisone shots to help my hip pain; however, I never got that Information from him. His notes for the appointment are inaccurate: they say that he answered all of my questions (he didn't) and made specific recommendations for biking, swimming and Icing (never discussed). It's possible that he confused me with another patient. One useful thing he did do was show me my hip x-ray from this year and compared it to my hip x ray from 4 years ago.

I explained that I was diagnosed with a 'Bakers Cyst' in the past and had the same feelings in my knee and leg. I was told now that I have arthritis in my right knee. I do thank Doctor Schueller for treating me with a cortisone shot as the pain has alleviated quite a bit as of this writing --2 days prior.
