No rushing you through the process and making sure you understand what you are being treated for. No cheating on your dietary guidelines or any other directions he gives you. He knows, can鈥檛 hide it! I have deep respect for this doctor.

Dr. Bavers is an excellent doctor. His qualities as a physician are great, as he takes his time to listen, and understand what you are saying. He is very knowledgeable and thorough in his examinations. I am a complicated patient with complicated medical issues. He cares for his patients as if they were family. If he does not know something, he finds out and lets you know. Also, refers you to a specialist if needed. He caught one on my more serious health issues and got me in to see a specialist right away. I got sick and hospitalized, and the specialist told my family I would not survive and to prepare. As it turned out 3 years later I am on the recovery road and thanks to Dr. Bavers being very sharp and on top of it. He still keeps up with me and all my health needs. I cannot say enough how thankful I am for a sweet caring physician. He is like family.
He is so good at paying attention to the patients movements, that he can pretty much know what is happening to you. He is very sharp knowing when a patient is not following a treatment plan.

I have the upmost respect for Dr. Bavers and depend on his expertise for my care. However, since this office has bee taken over by Trinity the quality of service has decreased to the point that if I were much younger I would be looking for another provider. You have to go thru several layers of gatekeepers to actually talk directly with Dr. Bavers office. Then you have to explain more than once your issues and their response is we'll leave a message with the office and someone will get back to you. More than once the message is wrong and does not reflect my medical concerns. Sometimes the message is never sent. No one accepts the blame for these complaints and you don't get the impression anything will be done to improve these concerns. Your doctors are so over booked and stressed that follow-up appointments are pushed out too far. God forbid if an emergency arises and you need to see your doctor soon because of pain because it can be six weeks before you are able to get in. I could say much more but I feel I am only wasting my time.p

This was a Meet & Greet as I am looking for a new PCP. The Dr was a great listener and very conversant on the medical issues I have. As a first visit we covered a huge amount of information and he spent a full hour with me - which was fantastic. My only recommendation would be to slow down just a bit as he used a lot of technical medical jargon and I was struggling to keep up with everything he was saying. However, the experience was very positive and I will be using him as my PCP going forward.

Dr Bavers picked up my appointment for post Covid problems after my zoom appointment with a different Dr failed in the am due to my ineptitude. I was a 'pop up' in his schedule. He reviewed my problem and med history info during the visit and recommended some over the counter medication to mitigate my malaise. He also noted my increasing blood pressure and counceled me forcefully to monitor and document it for my next office visit in Jan and directed me to seek emergency care if I experienced certain symptoms in the interim.I really liked Dr Bavers knowledge and manner, If he is still accepting new patients, I will make him my primary care physician.

Addressed all my questions. Listened to me. He was a new doctor to me - my previous dr. retired. I found her very knowledgeable about my medical history & ready to help solve problem I have.
Provider listened, asked questions. I did by best with the answers and we came up with plan to solve my condition
Dr. Bavers may not stay strictly on schedule, but he takes the time to discuss issues and handle anything that may arise. He is very thorough and respectful.
Dr Bavers is a very patient person and very good listener. I did not get the feeling he was in a rush.

Recently moved to the area. Continued to go to my previous doctors. Developed a fast growing growth on my right shoulder. My husband had gone to *Dr. Bavers & suggested I go to him also. Glad I did. *Dr. Bavers immediately identified the growth and said because it was so fast growing, it needed to be removed ASAP. He removed it right then & there, called me that evening to see how I was doing, & called me on his vacation with the pathology report. Talk about service! I was extremely impressed.
