"After rehabbing a torn ACL from a basketball injury, I made a career change from sales to physical therapy. It was a rewarding transition. I enjoy working one-on-one with individuals of all abilities to improve their function and quality of life."

Dan earned a doctoral degree in physical therapy from the University of Illinois – Chicago and holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from Valparaiso University.

While working towards his degree, Dan participated in a research study on fall prevention and gait training in the elderly and presented additional research at the National Physical Therapy Conference in New Orleans.

As a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), he is credentialed through Great Lakes Seminars to assess mechanical dysfunction from a holistic perspective, using an eclectic hands-on approach. He has been invited to be an assistant instructor for physical therapy seminars, which emphasize manual therapy techniques and functional strengthening exercises.

Dan enjoys watching and playing soccer, bike riding, traveling, watching Michigan football and the Tigers.
