Christina Pratt, PTA

"When I was younger I worked at a gym, and was drawn to the way that people moved. I worked a lot with an elderly clientele and would see the way their lives were different and more fulfilled when they could be more active. I became a physical therapist assistant because I knew I wanted to be someone who could change people's lives for the better."

Christy holds an associate degree in applied science from Washtenaw Community College’s PTA program. Her passion for health and fitness propelled her to be one of the top in her class.

She has experience working in both orthopedic outpatient settings and in a skilled nursing facility where the focus was on gait and balance training for the geriatric population. Christy continues to pursue education courses in functional anatomy, strength, and manual training as well as specializing in pelvic health management, balance and LSVT BIG which trains people with Parkinson disease (PD) to use their body for more normal movement.

Her hobby's including gaming, both board and video, cooking and baking, spending quality time with family and friends, and learning.
