Dr Alvir is one of the most compassionate and intelligent doctors I鈥檝e ever had the pleasure of seeing. I moved to the downriver area from Livonia and I choose to stay with Dr Alvir. I travel for close to an hour for my visits. That鈥檚 how awesome of a doctor she is. I appreciate her hard work ethic and ability to listen and communicate.
She said it shouldn't have been a video call right off the bat due to my symptoms. I agree but scheduling staff only gave me that option for the next month!
I will return and would like for this to be the office I visit going forward.

She was kinda rude today and her phone was not on silent, she kept checking it and her watch while we were talking and messaging on the computer. Said she was going to send in a prescription but I had to email her to get clarification because something different was sent. She seemed rushed but spent a lot of time with me

I invariably feel cared for after speaking with Dr. Alvir. She is thorough, so I never feel as though I 'forgot' to address something. She may be tired but doesn't show it; she always has an upbeat attitude that helps me to feel like I can keep pushing. I love her supportive attitude.
I waited 30 minutes in the room. She wasn't entirely familiar with my issues. I had to call the office 3 days after my appointment to get my prescription and test results. Very disappointed!

This was my first visit with this Doctor. I am not a Fan of 'going to the Doctor' . This was an routine exam. Doctor tried to be thorough with history taking. Got bloodwork , referrals , and follow-up in a year.
She answered my question, but like I said- any staff could have done this. There was no need to require me to have an appointment in order to get the answer to my question.
