About
"I've always had an interest in anatomy and body movement. While receiving physical therapy as a high school athlete, I knew I had found a career that would not only complement my interest in sports, but one that would allow me to help and serve others as well."
Anna earned a bachelor's degree in health sciences and a doctoral degree in physical therapy from Grand Valley State University. While studying for her degree, Anna participated in an extensive research study regarding gait analysis in children with cerebral palsy. The research has been published in Gait & Posture.
As a Certified Integrated Manual Therapist (CIMT), Anna is credentialed through Great Lakes Seminars to assess mechanical dysfunction from a holistic perspective, using a variety of hands-on techniques. She believes in a comprehensive approach to physical therapy by finding and treating the underlying cause of symptoms in order to create long-term improvement.
Anna enjoys water sports, camping, hiking, and spending time with her husband and their four children.
