Anjali Shah, PT, DPT

Anjali Shah is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who treats adult pelvic floor dysfunction with all genders. She graduated from Emory University with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy and the University of Michigan with a bachelor's in movement science and a minor in women’s studies.

Anjali spent the first six years of her career working in Trauma and Critical Care at a Level 1 trauma hospital treating a wide variety of neurologic, colorectal, cardiopulmonary, and orthopedic conditions. These varied treatment approaches has given her an excellent foundation for rehabilitation and a unique lens on how she practices physical therapy.

""The reason I became a Physical Therapist is because I wanted to help improve the quality of life for all people. In pelvic health I get the opportunity to help those suffering with pelvic pain, bowel, bladder, and sexual dysfunction. I strongly believe that, ‘knowledge is power’, and education is a pillar in rehabilitation. My practice is strongly rooted in education and empowering my patients with knowledge to better understand their condition and improve their functional outcomes. I am passionate about treating trauma and continuing to develop education for other fellow healthcare providers surrounding trauma informed care so that we can better serve our communities.
