Diagnosis becomes a joint effort and at least at TH, "standard of care" doesn't become a mantra as it does at UM, and common sense, thought for the patient and compassionate, intelligent care are the standards. My Mom is functionally quadriplegic, communicates poorly if at all and has advanced dementia. During ADLs she is typically very feisty, anxious, uncooperative and cries out. In recent months It has been Impossible to trim her toe nails. Due to observed complications we were advised to consult with a podiatrist asap. We were able to see Dr. Ostroski quickly, and she was fantastic with Mom, successfully examined her feet, trimmed her toenails without complaint from Mom and advised and reassured us about a treatment plan. Dr. Ostroski is professional, flexible, friendly, empathetic and knowledgeable. We couldn't be happier!

I go in about once every three years. I initially saw Dr. Klein at my first appointment then got assigned to Dr. O for the follow up appoints. Honestly, she wasn't my favorite at my first appointment with her a couple of years ago. At this appointment, the first thing she asked me was if I had seen her before. Why wouldn't she know that? Because she didn't have any of my previous medical history with that office. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Had I known this, I would have started over with another office since I wasn't overly impressed with this office in the first place (more so since not seeing Dr. Klein). I will say though, Dr. O obviously looked up my info AFTER my visit. I can tell by her after visit notes. I give her credit for that, but I feel my appointment would have served me much better had she had some history prior to my visit. Now I feel it was a complete waste of time & money.

This was my first visit to your clinic and I was impressed. My doctor and her assistant were wonderful!!! Told me everything that she would do and talked me through each step. She answered my many questions and I just loved her positive, confident attitude!!! If there is a need for foot or ankle problem I wouldn't want to see anyone else but her!

I was expecting to know if I have fungus on my toe nails. She explained that I could get a diagnosis by sending a specimen to the lab. She ended up prescribing Ciclopirox
