This is the first time that I saw Dr. Hughey since Dr. Ravindran left Michigan Heart. I found Dr. Hughey to be very professional and listened to my concerns. I was there for a medical clearance for an upcoming surgery. I was pleased to hear that Dr. Hughey will be taking over Dr. Ravindran's patients. [ . . . ] the nurse was awesome!

Dr. Hughey was great. Having to wait for a follow up phone call to schedule procedure is not good. After 5 days I had to call general line as had not heard from anyone. Ann Arbor not helpful. Called Chelsea office & wonderful woman helped us determine orders were not input right. [ . . . ] called to schedule things the next day. She is wonderful.
I really was impressed with Dr. Hughey, and if need be, will seek care from him in the future.
This was a 6 month follow-up that took a year to get to. It's impossible to get an appointment!
The doctor was well informed about my condition.
I'm sort of unhappy with his findings. When I got the EKG report on My Chart today, I compared it with the EKGs from the emergency room. He was concerned that the BPM was high & increased dosage on one of my meds. On the BPMs from the ER one was high, one wasn't. I'm thinking that these results fluctuate & probably don't need higher dosage. I'll be discussing it with my primary doctor next week.
