Dr. Landon explained in layman's terms, what the antibiotics she was prescribing were going to do and how they worked together.

Don't brush off senior lady who had reason for the pain.. should have done testing or referral to podiatrist. I did on my own and wished I saw podiatrist lots sooner. I would had serval weeks of pain
I just think that she and I are not a good match. I would like more of an outgoing PCP. She is reticent about prescribing meds which I am not used to.
The dr provided info but did not seem invested in me as a person. Felt like a check list
When I showed sign being anxious dr Landon understood and did not rush the time. She even showed me some techniques to helped release pain/tension on my back/neck/shoulders. I really appreciate that.

New patient appointments usually are blocked for at least 3 o to 45 minutes so i felt the time with dr was good.

This was my first visit to doctor Landon because my previous PCP has retired. She was very friendly and introduced herself and gave me some background on herself and made sure she had answered any questions or concerns I had.i was very glad I was referred to her.
I like my provider, but am challenged by the fact that I was misinformed as to what to do when I specifically called a month in advance to clarify if I had to fast prior to getting my lab work. After I divulged to the MA that I called and was told that I did not have to fast, so I didn't, there was no record or documentation that it was NOT a fasting blood draw so it is inaccurate. This inaccuracy is now on my record without this pertinent detail. My labs were not horrible, however I did have a High marking, but it just apears as though it was HIGH without the notation that it was NOT fasting. I understand mistakes.....it didn't even have to be documented as a mistake, but something indicating that it was not a fasting blood draw would have been appropriate for anyone looking at those readings so that inaccuracies could be factored in. Trust is a huge factor and when that trust is slightly compromised, you start questioning and wondering about the slightest things. It is not a good feeling. 😕

Sometimes care givers are not a good fit because they don't have a personality like the patient. This doctor wasn't smiling and held a serious, no smile attitude. I would appreciate more kindness and positive attitude but would not want to seek another care giver because of this.
